SYNOPSIS
VIRGIN IN THE CITY charts the hilarious journey of a small town girl, Knoxie Dibbles… plucked from her southern roots of Libertyville, Georgia… thrown into “LaLa Land” (Hollywood)… and thrust into the limelight as the host of a controversial radio show advocating “abstinence” as opposed to “safe sex” for teenage girls. The show rallies supporters and sparks protest from angry liberals. When she trumps the president of “Prepared Parent” in a televised safe-sex versus abstinence debate, and exposes the truth about the condom study cover-up, Knoxie’s popularity soars.
The abstinence movement explodes, spreading like wildfire as “Just Don’t Do It” clubs pop up everywhere. “Just Don’t Do It” becomes all the rage.
Meanwhile, Knoxie’s enemies, through cunning and deceptive, attempt to sabotage and scandalize her… but in the end, the truth triumphs.
The safe-sex industry falters… the abstinence movement becomes a phenomenon, and the new sexual counter-revolution that espouses old-fashioned morals and values is born.
